We used Sara for the first time this summer after she was recommended to us. It was a new arrangement to have someone stay in our home, and not one which we took lightly.

Well, we cannot wait to have her back again!

To Sara this is clearly not just her job. She went over and above in her level of care and love with our dogs and the guinea pig. They were always her first priority, and she will check in with you as much or as little as you tell her that you want contact whilst you are away. She came and met with us to go over absolutely everything before we departed, and ensured that the animals were familiar with her. Our home was clean and tidy to come home to, and she stayed in touch after our arrival, even emailing us with any training tips or things she had noticed in their health or behaviours.

You literally cannot ask more from a person, her heart and soul are in this. Thank you so much Sara!

.We first met Sara earlier this year when she was recommended by a friend after we found ourselves in need of a dog and house sitter at short notice. From the moment Sara arrived, we could tell she was experienced, especially with larger breeds like our two young Belgian Malinois, Poppy and Maverick. She took the time to meet with us and the dogs beforehand, making sure to understand their specific needs.

Sara accompanied my wife on a short walk to observe the dogs' routine and how we handled them. She asked all the right questions and took careful note of their feeding schedule, daily routines, and any other details we could think of to ensure the dogs would feel comfortable in our absence.

On the day of our holiday, Sara arrived early to meet us before we left for the airport, giving us the peace of mind that our home and dogs wouldn’t be left alone. When we returned, the dogs were happy and well-cared for, and we could see that they had bonded with her. Throughout our holiday, Sara sent daily updates, complete with photos of the dogs on walks and relaxing at home. She not only maintained their training but also provided enrichment activities to keep their minds engaged.

Our return was made even more pleasant by coming home to a clean and tidy house, freshly changed sheets, and well-exercised dogs. As a thoughtful touch, Sara even provided us with fresh milk, perfect for that first cup of tea after our trip. We can wholeheartedly recommend Sara as a reliable, compassionate, and capable dog/house sitter.

We’ve already booked her for several upcoming holidays later this year, and we look forward to working with her again.

Sara was a great pet sitter for my 3 cats whilst we were away for two weeks.

I was a bit apprehensive of leaving one of my cats because he needed to have medication twice a day and was worried he would run away when someone new came into the house . But Sara was great and very successful. All 3 cats loved Sara and couldn’t get enough attention . Sara sent daily photos and updates which kept my mind at ease.

I would highly recommend Sara and I will be using her again next year.

Being the new owner of a traumatised ‘feral’ rescue cat, I was reluctant to trust anyone with my cat as I was worried anyone may trigger her and force her to remember her old life and regress with the progress she was making. I had no problems leaving my cat, Cassie, with Sara.

Sara is very knowledgeable & made a thorough visit to my home to meet & spend time with her before my holiday. She immediately put my mind at rest and is truly ‘an animal person’.

This is not so much a business for Sara but a passion. I felt comfortable leaving my keys with her and knew Cassie would be in good hands. Upon arriving at my destination, I was amazed and delighted to receive a text message & photographs showing she was happy and even having cuddles in my absence. This was a wonderful addition to the service.

When I needed help transporting my newly rescued pets to the vet because I don’t drive, I contacted Sara. During the vet visit, I learned that their current living environment wasn’t suitable, and I needed to make significant changes - something that felt overwhelming to handle on my own. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to see how Sara went above and beyond to create the perfect environment for my guinea pigs and snake. Her dedication to understanding their specific needs and ensuring their health and happiness is truly exceptional.

For my guinea pigs, Sara designed a spacious, well-thought-out habitat that allows them to explore, play, and feel secure. She extensively researched their dietary needs, guiding me on how to feed them properly with fresh vegetables, high-quality pellets, and hay to keep them healthy and active. Sara also emphasised the importance of socialisation, regularly engaging with them and encouraging interactions to strengthen their bond with one another.

For my snake, Sara carefully created a habitat that mimics its natural environment. She meticulously ensured the right heating, humidity levels, and hiding spots, paying attention to every critical detail. She also provided me with a precise feeding schedule, advising me on the appropriate type and size of food to support the snake’s health and well-being.

Sara’s commitment to pet care demonstrates her compassion and responsibility. She doesn’t just meet the standard level of care - she exceeds it. Thanks to her efforts, my guinea pigs and snake are thriving in every way. Witnessing her dedication has been truly inspiring, all stemming from a single vet visit.

We have a special little cross breed called Louie. He is nearly 4 years old.
After much training and behavioural work Louie was ‘diagnosed’ with fear aggression.
He is so fearful of everything, including activities of normal day to day living i.e. car journeys, people, traffic etc.
This made it very difficult to have a dog walker or sitter as he dislikes everyone outside of the family - this was worrying as we started to feel like we couldn’t go out anywhere or go away on holiday.

I have known Sara for over 45 years and knew how great she is around dogs. I asked if she would be interested in looking after Louie in his home environment and she was very open to the idea.
After a trial evening which went swimmingly well (even had a photo of Louie being petted on Sara’s lap)!
We have used Sara for holidays and random nights out and couldn’t be happier.

We have used Sara for over 3 years now. She looks after our Jack Russell Cross and huge lazy cat whenever we go away. She stays at our house and looks after them like they are her own fur babies. She gives them love, attention, walks and keeps them safe and sound.  Luna sulks when she goes home.

Our house is immaculate when we return. We would not hesitate in recommending this lovely, trustworthy, animal lover. We call her the dog and cat whisperer as she can get them to do anything she wants them to do. They adore her and it's so nice to have someone to love our animals and our home.

I have known Sara for many years and she has looked after our  Viszla Otto on a number of occasions.

She takes her job seriously and takes care of him as though he was her own. In fact he gets better care than we give him!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for your pets, she is both professional and also kind.
She loves animals and they are safe in her care. She also looked after our bearded dragon a couple of years ago and there were no problems at all.
